About Us
In the early 2000s, our Founder, Julie, began a quiet revolution at her own kitchen counter. As a young mother of three, she was determined to protect her family’s health—from the food they ate to the products they used on their skin. At the time, truly natural and organic skincare options were scarce. Seeing a gap in the market, Julie and her husband partnered with a small team of master formulators to create simple, effective formulas made only with ingredients they could trust.
Over the next twenty years, Julie and her family refined those recipes while traveling the world to learn directly from the source. From the palm oil farms of Africa to the essential oil distilleries of Europe, Julie worked side-by-side with family-run farms and small-batch producers who valued quality over quantity. The result was skincare gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin—something Julie experienced firsthand with her own children.
By 2020, Julie was ready to bring her vision fully to life. She launched Real Skin Care, a brand built on her philosophy of purity and transparency, giving her complete control over every ingredient and a direct connection to the customers she serves.
That same year, Sean, a veteran of the Iraq War and a proud disabled veteran, joined as co-founder and Vice President. Sean brought the technical expertise needed to share Julie’s creations with the world, building Real Skin Care’s Amazon and Shopify platforms and guiding its growth. His commitment to service continues to shape the company’s mission, inspiring Real Skin Care to support veteran communities and give back wherever possible.
Today, Real Skin Care remains family-owned and operated from start to finish—from sourcing and manufacturing to marketing and fulfillment. Every jar reflects the same promise that started it all: pure, honest skincare made from the cleanest natural ingredients. With growing awareness of toxic chemicals in everyday products, Real Skin Care stands as a trusted leader in clean living, offering skincare that nurtures and protects—just as Julie intended for her own family more than two decades ago.
